On my first day, a local fisherman (shoutout to Ali! 👋) saw me scrolling on my phone looking confused. He laughed and said, “Google Maps doesn’t know our best places.” He pointed to the northern tip of the island. “Go there.”
I followed his cryptic directions, weaving through palm trees until the path opened up… and my jaw DROPPED. 🤩

And guess what? I CAUGHT A FISH! A gorgeous red snapper. 🐟 And so did everyone else in our group. It was the most satisfying feeling, knowing we were literally catching our sunset feast.

This is where the story reaches its PEAK. We returned to shore as the sun began to dip, painting the sky in shades of fire orange and deep purple.
